6 January 2009 No Comment
February 3, 2009toFebruary 10, 2009

The First Quarter lunar phase for February 2009 runs from 3 Feb – 10 Feb. The full moon on February 10 is known traditionally as the “Wolf Moon”.

The First Quarter is the time for planting above-ground annual fruiting crops, green manures and flowering annuals in the traditional lunar planting calendar.

For information on what to do in the various climate zones around Australia in the First Quarter phase, check out Aussie Organic Gardening’s What To Plant In February entry.
