Friends of the Earth Illawarra are having their official launch party at the Corrimal Community Centre, Grev. Room 1.

Come along for some good food, great conversation and to learn more about this exciting new group working in your community. Friends of the Earth is the world’s largest grassroots environmental organisation and FoE Illawarra is the newest member of the Australia network.

The launch will feature talks from:

• Uncle Dootch Kennedy – inspiring Aboriginal activist from the Sandon Point Tent Embassy
• Wendy Richardson – local playwright and relentless community volunteer
• Natalie Lowry – one of FoE Australia’s National Liason Officers
• Holly Creenaune – energetic activist from FoE Sydney
