To celebrate World Environment Day 2010, there will be a free screening of two films:
- The Power of Community – How Cuba survived Peak Oil (55 mins).
- The Story of Stuff – Explores our obsession with consumption and accumulation of ‘stuff’, and the impact it’s having on our planet (20 mins).
A light supper of soup made from locally sourced produce will be provided. Bookings are essential, so please register your interest by calling 4232 0419 by 21st May 2010. Please bring along a tin of food to be donated to the Salvation Army.
