We have long-time food gardener Don Cairns speaking at our next Jamberoo Community Growers meeting on Sunday 6th June, 2:00 pm at the Jamberoo Anglican Church Hall (next to the Primary School). He will be talking about the annual cycle of gardening through the seasons.

Now living in Nowra, Don lived in Kiama for some time and is well-known to some of our longer-term local gardeners. He has decades of experience with growing food in the Kiama, Kangaroo Valley and Nowra areas. This is the kind of local knowledge you just can’t get from books!

Please feel free to invite your friends along to this meeting too – the more the merrier. As always we’ll have tea, coffee and nibblies, plus supervised activities for the kids.

And don’t forget to bring along your surplus produce, seedlings, seeds, cuttings, etc for the trading table.
