Support The Green Box Regional Food Cooperative!

I need a tiny bit of help from people in the Kiama and Shoalhaven LGAs. It will take less than a minute.

Some people I’ve met through various sustainability groups and events are setting up a regional food cooperative, named Green Box Regional Food Co-operative Ltd. This is an awesome project, and something our region really needs. Their basic aim is to provide local, sustainable, organic, and minimally packaged food at affordable prices.

Green Box has applied for a grant to assist in the setup of the premises they need for distribution of their products. To secure the grant, they need to demonstrate that they have support within the community.

All you need to do is print out this letter, fill it in, and mail it back to Matt Brown (no stamp required).

Or even easier, you can simply email Matt Brown at kiama@parliament.nsw.gov.au, stating “I wish to register my support for the Green Box Regional Food Co-op project to be funded through the Community Building Partnerships Program.” Make sure you also include your name, address, and phone number in the email so they know it’s genuine.

All replies need to be in by the 1st of November, so please don’t delay!

Thanks so much for helping this worthwhile initiative.
