Would you like to increase your backyard habitat? How about grow your own food?

Saturday 2nd April 2011 9am – 1pm Blue Haven community garden Havilah Place Kiama. Park at Kiama Leisure Centre carpark and walk through the sports fields.

This short workshop is open, free of cost, to residents of Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama LGAs. It covers the different methods used for propagating plants at home.

Participants will be shown how to divide plants, strike cuttings and vegetative material as well as collect and save seed.

Please feel free to bring along native plant or vegetable seed that you may have collected and wish to grow.

Please bring gardening gloves and secateurs. Morning tea will be provided.
