Backyard Chook Keeping Workshop – Shellharbour

Saturday 13th August, 10:00am – 3:00pm in Shellharbour

Ever wanted to learn about keeping chooks? This workshop is for both newcomers to backyard chooks as well as current chook owners. It is aimed at encouraging good health and well-being for poultry and consequently for the family eating the eggs!

This workshop is free for residents of Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama Council areas only. This workshop is part of the Illawarra Biodiversity and Food Strategy for Climate Change project, a joint project by Wollongong City Council, Shellharbour City Council and Kiama Municipal Council funded by the NSW Environmental Trust.
