Joel Salatin, world-leader in innovative farming practices will be leading a discussion which will get the whole town talking! The evening will consist of presentations from Joel Salatin, an inspiring new film, The Greenhorns, and tastes of our region’s local produce.
The Greenhorns documentary film, completed after almost 3 years in production, explores the lives of a young farming community – its spirit, practices, and needs. Based in the farming community of America, this documentary will have lessons and inspiration for farming communities around the world. It is the filmmaker’s hope that by broadcasting the stories and voices of these young farmers, we can build the case for those considering a career in agriculture – to embolden them, to entice them, and to recruit them into farming.
