Coomonderry Swamp Bird Watching Tour – Seven Mile Beach

Conservation Volunteers is hosting a free guided bird watching walk in the scenic Seven Mile Beach National Park from 8am-11am on Saturday 3 December.

The walk will take you through some spectacular stands of Eucalypts before going out onto the shores of Coomonderry Swamp which is the largest freshwater coastal wetland in southern NSW and is a known habitat for many species of birds; including the Australasian Bittern.

Members of Illawarra Birders Inc will be on hand to assist with bird identification, so if you are keen to learn some bird ID skills then this is the walk for you! Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to discover a hidden treasure of the south coast.

Places are limited, so call Renae or Jess from Conservation Volunteers on 4228 9246 to book or spot or find out more information.
