I’ve always wanted to sit down and draw up a proper plan for our garden, but we never seem to find the time. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, like you’d expect from a professional landscaper. Just a quick sketch to help figure out what you can fit in, and where it’ll all go.

Here’s an example from the Planting Milkwood blog: Basecamp Garden: Plan For Summer. Even that’s a bit fancy for my ability!

Actually, given how many people at the Super Challenge launch expressed an interest in starting a vegie garden, a garden planning workshop would be a great idea. Hopefully someone with the required skills reads this blog Garden Planning .

Since I recently had to create a scale drawing of our yard for my retaining wall development application, maybe now is the time to throw something together. We’ll see…
