Energy Around The Home Workshop – Kiama

20 November 2008 2 Comments

This is another workshop I’d have loved to attend, but unfortunately I can’t make it. It would be really useful, given our current efforts to reduce our high electricity consumption!

  • Date: Saturday 22 November 2008
  • Time: 9:30am – 12:30pm
  • Venue: Girl Guide Cottage, Hindmarsh Park, Kiama (map)

Learn which parts of your house consume the most energy and the action you can take to save money and reduce your carbon footprint. Find out if you are eligible to participate in an upcoming energy monitoring pilot program – where you could receive a home energy monitoring device valued at $160.

To register call Byron at Kiama Council on 4232 0465.

    hey Darren,

The same workshop is being run again on the 29th of Nov in Wollongong if that is a better time for you. Kiama, Shellhabour and Wollongong residents can attend any of the Sustainable Illawarra activities being run in the region, unlike some of the other workshops run by Council which can only be attened by residents from that specific Council area.

    Cheers,

    Ally and Rich :-) http://www.happyearth.com.au
