    Hi Darren,

Thanks for posting this. I would like to go and see what there is. I bet it will be packed. Did you see this advertised. I don’t think these sort of places can compete with bunnings.

Thanks for your help setting up my blog. Im enjoying it.

    Cheers.

  2. Great to hear your blog is going well! I’m following it, but I don’t get a lot of computer time these days :-).

Magnet Mart had a full-page ad in today’s Mercury.

I reckon it’ll be packed too. I’m hoping to pick up some cheap plants, and maybe some supplies like potting mix, bagged mulch, organic fertilisers, pots, hoses, buckets, etc. Depends how cheap things are!

    Hi Darren,

Went down to magnet mart. Got a few things. Lots of seeds for $1.60 a pakt. Which will keep me going for a while. Some of them were certified organic which was good.

Got some seed raising mix, moo poo and some mulch and a nice big native plant for $5 which was marked down from$23.

My goodness wasn’t there a crowd. I thought i saw u there but i was not sure if it was u or not. Were u there early. I was there right on 8. THe guy i thought was u was carring some tomato steaks and a hose. I thought it was u but i didn’t want to make a idiot of myself and say hi darren if it was not u ha ha..

People were definalty after bargins!!! People had there trollies full to the brim and i had to wait 1/2 an hour to get out of the place. Never mind. All those seeds will keep us in vegies for agea.

    Have a great weekend.
    Cheers

  4. Hi Donna!

Yes, it sounds like me. I saw you, but I’m hopeless with faces and names and I wasn’t sure where I knew you from! I slapped myself in the forehead when I got outside and realised. Sorry for not saying hi!

Wasn’t it mad there? I found a trolley in the carpark and went back in for another go. Got a shed, a mini-greenhouse for propagating, some seed potatoes, and lots of gardening stuff like clippers, gloves, jute string, solar garden lights, compost mixer, hose fittings, etc. Oh, plus the tomato stakes, citrus tree etc you probably saw me with.

I spent over $500 in the end! Still, before I knew about the sale I was going to spend that much on just a shed, so I reckon I got away with a bargain.
