Backyard Chook Keeping Workshop – Kiama

22 June 2013 No Comment

A friend of mine, Deb, is running a backyard chook keeping workshop in Kiama on Sunday 30 June 2013.

If you’re interested in getting started keeping chooks, or you already have some but want to learn more, this would be a great workshop to attend. Deb holds a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC), and will teach you about encouraging good health and wellbeing for poultry and consequently for the family eating the eggs!

It only costs $10, and runs from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.

If you’re interested, phone Kiama Council on 4232 0416 or email juliee@kiama.nsw.gov.au. Bookings are essential, as places are limited.

Build your own chicken coop.
